Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not as represented on box This is the second Mixmaster my wife has purchased for me as a gift. Both purchases were to replace my original Mixmaster, Heritage series. My original Mixmaster had locking bowls, with synchronized bowl and beaters. This most recent Mixmaster is clearly marked on the box "SYNCHRONIZED BOWL & BEATERS automatically increases and decreases speed with adjustment of the control knob" looking at the features listed here on the website, that is not a feature of this mixer. Without the synchronized bowl, and having a free spinning bowl, offers poor performance when mixing. Very disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than a Kitchen Aid! I received this product as a gift and I love it! I use it everyday to make mashed potatoes, pancakes or bake cookies, cakes or pies. The motor is quiet. The mixing is throughout. I love this thing!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sad This was a gift to me and am so disappointed with this machine. FPSBSM2103. The bowl won't spin, it won't mix even cookie dough...I have to do all the work, scraping and spinning the bowl and the bowl is way too big. Also the paddles don't mix at all...maybe in a smaller bowl but I wouldn't know that. I've used the machine a few times trying different recipes to get it to work and now have to start out with my sunbeam hand mixer and then mix by hand. I'm 70 and don't have the strength anymore. I just want to get the butter creamed and the flour mixed. Basically I don't have a mixer to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sunbeam still the best The first Sunbeam mixer lasted 20 years, the 2nd lasted over 30 years and so we purchased a new one recently. We were able to pick it out from the web site and never had to leave the house. It is very attractive and we are convinced it will last at least 20 years. We love it already.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bowl will not spin I have been buying the heritage series for over ten years because I like the double beaters. I buy two new ones every year or every other year depending how long they last because I use them often and the motor in the base tend to go bad after a year or two. 2015 I bought two more and was horrified when the bowls did not spin. I have exchanged them twice. Still the bowl does not spin. Why did they take the motor out of the base that made the bowl spin? If I wanted to turn the bowl myself I would use a hand mixer. I liked the old ones so much I keep them hoping that I find someone to replace the motor in the base. I have about ten of them. Please put the motor back in the base because this mixer is driving me crazy with me having to turn the bowl. I would hate to have to get Kitchen Aids with the one mixer. Or please tell me how to fix the base motors in the many that I have. Help
