Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not impressed with its longevity I bought this machine in December 2011. It had enough power for all my baking needs but I found the bowl too large with smaller batches. I tried to buy the smaller bowl but it’s not available in Canada and could not be shipped outside of USA. Anyway, it died last week without any warning whatsoever. There was no power to turn it on, like a wire inside was cut off. I now bought a Kitchenaid but the pricing is exorbitant, like purchasing a major appliance. Always had Sunbeams for over 40 years but they are not the same quality as years ago. Even Kitchenaids have flaws.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Sure If It Is The Correct Mixer I'm new to baking. I came to this website looking for user info that I thought I was lacking. Anything you make with this product needs to be a thin mix. i.e light batters. Gee, I have to babysit the bowl to make butter cream. The paddle does not intersect with the bowl side or bottom correctly . This added 5 minutes, which I could have used for the meal prep. I'm no professional but there should have been some consultation with an experienced user at the R&D stage. Dough mix hook is only fair and with light breads only. I'm skeptical about the accessories. Suction rubber base stability works ok.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does NOT Work Got this for Christmas, it doesn't work. The bowl doesn't spin and most the time, the beaters/whisk/hooks do not even touch the mix. The bowl is squared, and that is an awful design for a mixer. It's a terrible mixer overall. I will not be getting another stand mixer from Sunbeam ever again. Sorry.

A mixer where I have to stand and spin the bowl by hand is beyond useless. Even whipping mashed potatoes which are quite thick , had to spin the bowl by hand, tried whipped cream next , same thing. Pretty packaging for an inferior product

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible product. That is gift from my husband last year. I bake a lot, he wanted make me happy and make my baking easier. Unfortunately I can't use it at all. Tried couple times and totally disappointed. That bowl is to wide on the bottom, absolutely not good for mixing eggs, cream and batter. I just try to mix that . The beaters didn't even touch the bottom. Maybe if I get from Sunbeam the right bowl, narrow on the bottom and durable whisks, I can try to use that mixer again, otherwise is just nice display.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great mixer This is a great mixer, but to me has one small flaw. We just had an older sunbeam that quit after many uses, and it had glass bowls. My wife loves the glass bowls and was hoping they would fit this machine. Unfortunately this machine is not backward compatible with the older bowls, and only can use bowls designed for this machine

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Useless Hunk of Junk One of the worst blenders ever. The dough always goes on the side, and it made a huge mess in my entire kitchen! It doesn't come with a paddle mixer and the bowl is too large to make anything. I will not support this blender and buy attachments that should've come with it. If you are looking for a blender, do not come here to grab one. Made my job even more hard. Worst Blender ever! Not supporting Sunbeam anymore.

I bought mine 8 years ago and just a few days ago before my birthday it broke not because of machine issue but because it fell from a storage compartment where I usually keep it but for some reason this time it fell hard on my back to the floor but if it didn't fell I'm sure it would still be working properly for a while. This is a good stand mixer whether you're a beginner or a pro baker. The only thing that I wish comes with the package is the whisk attachment but overall I am completely satisfied with my purchase.
