What if the cord of my electric kettle is loose even though I push it all the way in?

Ensure the cord is fully inserted into the kettle receptacle. If cord remains loose, contact your authorised Service Centre for a replacement.

What if my kettle will not heat water?

The kettle may not heat water if the cord becomes detached, cutting power to the kettle. Try pushing the cord in to ensure it has been inserted completely.

How long do kettles remain on after reaching maximum temperature?

The kettles shuts off 35 seconds after reaching the maximum temperature.

Can I boil milk or Tea etc in my kettle

No, kettle use is intended for boiling water only. Any other use will void your warranty and may result in potential injury.

How do I clean my Electric Kettle?

Never use any chemical, steel wool, or abrasive cleaners to clean the heating element or the outside of the Kettle. Mineral deposits in tap water may cause the water gauge and the inside of the Kettle to discolor with frequent use. Always disconnect the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning. Never immerse the Kettle or power base (for cordless kettles) in water or other liquids. To remove this build-up; fill the Kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar and the remainder with water and allow to stand overnight, Empty the solution from the Kettle, Stains remaining just inside the spout area can be removed by rubbing with a damp cloth, Fill the Kettle with clean water, plug it into an electric outlet, and bring the water to a boil. Repeat and the Kettle will be ready to use, The outside of the Kettle can be wiped with a soft damp cloth.

My kettle boils continuously and will not stop boiling

To avoid this, ensure the lid is completely closed when boiling water. If the lid is open or partially open, the steam will escape and the kettle boil cycle will not complete. The unit will remain running until the lid is shut. If after closing the lid, the kettle boils for more than 10 minutes, manually shut it off and call for service.

Why does the water not get hot in my electric kettle?

This may be caused by lime build up. We recommend cleaning by cycling the unit using 1 quart of white vinegar. Rinse thoroughly.

Is my Sunbeam Electric Kettle - BPA Free

The Sunbeam Electric Kettle body and lid are made of polypropylene, which is BPA free. The lid latches are polycarbonate. Due to this, the entire kettle cannot be classified as BPA free.
