Rated 1 out of 5 by Linds2132 from Just no Okay so everyone says this . But I never write reviews. I am literally typing this out at 6 in the morning because I woke up freezing cold. Naturally, I go to turn on my handy heating pad (that I got four months ago mind you) and sure enough a dreaded flashing F appears. Not sure if this is the universe mocking me further after the already hellish week I’ve had. Either way, no matter how many times you unplug it from the wall or from the actual heating pad, and plug it back in, it won’t turn on again. I take this F as a big “eff u” and feel like I can literally hear the heating pad laughing at me right now. I am left tired, cold , and right PO’ed. Please do not buy this garage .

Rated 1 out of 5 by Arthur R from Avoid Completely: Poor Temperature Control Right out of the box, set to level 6, the pad was only capable of reaching a nominal temperature of 42.9*c; not really a heating pad - more like a "warming pad", factoring that normal body temperature is 37*c ± 0.5*c. After 30 minutes usage, a noticeable decrease in temperature occurred; dropping to 37.9*c - barely warm. All temperatures were measured using a Fluke 561 IR Thermometer. Utterly disappointing if you expect to use this for heat therapy. This is either due to poor quality control or inept engineering. Returning it ASAP.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Lb12 from Waste of money Alright so I've been through three of these heating pads . I never write reviews but I'm angry enough about this. These heating pads last maybe 4 months before they get the dreaded flashing "F". Not sure what the F stands for, all I know is that the heating pad stops heating up. No matter how many times you unplug it and plug it back in. And unplug the actual cord from the heating pad . It will never heat up again after it appears . Don't waste your money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Onaroll from Life Expectancy Short but Good I bought 3 of these heating pads. One for me, my mother and my son. All 3 failed after just a couple of months. I purchased from London Drugs, and they did honor the 1-year warranty BUT the warranty doesn't reset upon replacement. So when the second one dies, the third one dies...you still only have 1 year from purchase date. I now have no heating pads that work, and no option for replacement. SAD DAYS IN MY HOUSE!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Deborahkenora from Disappointment I recently bought this product for a neck injury. I was initially attracted to the size of the pad, looking forward to it draping over both shoulders and my neck. unfortunately, after using the pad daily for about a month it stopped working, displaying a flashing "F." Of course I tried turning the power on/off, which had a very temporary positive effect, and only worked twice. If anyone knows how if there is a way to fix this, please let me know!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Janissa from FED UP! This is the 3rd Sunbeam heating pad I've bought. I purchased the large one and have 2 smaller shoulder pads. Of the 3, only 1 shoulder pad works (the last one I purchased less than 3 months ago). I have followed the washing instructions to the letter!! I have arthritis and recently had a hip replacement. As a retired health care professional I know the benefit of heating pads. I would gladly return the unusable pads at Sunbeam's expense of course. Respectfully, Janissa Read

Rated 3 out of 5 by jee1 from It has great options but..... I have only had this style of heating pad for 7 months and already it has failed. I use my heating pad all the time for pain relief and general comfort. I have found that the pads with the detachable cords fail quicker. It is very disappointing. I will have to go through the hassle of trying to replace it.
