Per the instructions provided in your user manual, we recommend you clean the non-electrical parts of your fan frequently to maintain optimum fan performance. Ensure fan is unplugged before cleaning. For tower fans, clean with brush attachment on your vacuum along the intake grills to remove lint and dirt. For safety purposes, never open these units for any reason. For stand, table and wall mount fans, first disassemble front and rear grills. Reverse the assembly instructions found in the user manual to disassemble the blade parts. The grills and blade may be immersed in water with mild detergent. Wipe all other parts with a soft damp cloth. Be sure not to touch the motor. DRY ALL PARTS COMPLETELY BEFORE REASSEMBLING. For box fans, use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws on the outside perimeter of the front grill. Remove the grill to expose the fan blade. Wipe the blade with a soft damp cloth. Use a mild detergent if necessary. Be sure not to touch the motor or any other electrical components. For floor fans, wipe soft, damp cloth. Use a mild detergent if necessary. For all fan types, clean with brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner to remove most lint and dirt. We also recommend using a can of compressed air to clean dirty or dusty interior blades. Compressed air can be purchased at most hardware and office supply stores.

Certain models do not have a removable front grill. We suggest utilizing a can of compressed air to remove dirt and dust from blades or by using the brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner to vacuum the intake grills to remove lint and dirt. If your fan does have a removable front grill, please refer to the manual for cleaning instructions.

No, your fan motor comes fully lubricated out of the box. It does not need to be lubricated or oiled prior to use. We highly recommend against lubricating or oiling the fan at any time.

Try moving your fan to another outlet in a different room. It is possible that there could be a problem with the wall outlet. If your outlet checks out, the fuse within the plug could be blown or there could be a problem with the product. To replace the fuse, refer to your user manual. The remote control must be in direct line of sight to the fan and within the range of the sensor (range varies by model but usually 10-15 feet) and requires properly installed battery. Note: In order for the remote to work properly, you must point the remote directly at the control panel and ensure that there are no obstructions blocking the space between you and your fan.

When Sleep mode is activated, the fan will cycle through all speed settings in sequential order.

It is best to store your fan in the original or appropriately sized box. If stored fully or partially assembled, the fan head should be covered to prevent dust from accumulating on the blades.

The easiest way to clean dust off of internal fan blades is through the use of compressed air. Cans of compressed air can be purchased at most hardware and office supply stores.
