Rated 1 out of 5 by BooSunbeam from Stopped heating AGAIN Sunbeam sent me this blanket after another blanket model stopped heating. This one stopped heating too after 3-4 months. The Queen size is also a LOT smaller than the twin size I had from another model. Never buying Sunbeam products again. Many people commented on how cool it was I had an electric blanket but I've been warning how terrible Sunbeam ones are since I've tried three different types of Sunbeam electric blankets and they ALL have stopped working after a few months of very limited use. Now I'm jealous of a friend who was smart and bought a different brand of electric blanket.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Bandanna from Four useless blankets I've purchased four blankets over the years and they usually work well the first year but after that only the bit near the plug gets warm and only a little warm or they just don't heat up at all. I emailed them and was sent a checklist of things I might be doing wrong. I emailed them back telling them that the blankets were the problem and asking if someone could help me and I never heard back. Poor/no customer service. The throws on the other hand consistently work well and I've bought many of those over the year (8 last winter, 9 so far this year...not all for me :). But I will never buy another Sunbeam blanket as there are now much better alternatives with much better customer service.

Rated 4 out of 5 by happy with blankie from Love the preheat setting! I bought this blanket a month ago on sale. We needed a small king size for our oversize queen bed. I was hoping for grey but alas only sand was available. We love the preheat setting and the fact it auto adjusts to an overnight setting. The functionality of the controller for the preheat setting is simple and clear. I like the large, soft, grippy buttons. And the led is a nice soft light as well. The blanket is super warm. The material was a bit slippy at first but that seems to have settled in. We do notice the weight of it though and I would have liked the wires to be padded more. I would also like a top to bottom split in heat control as well as a left to right. It would be nice to heat just my feet overnight.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Malik from Not satisfactory I bought this product about a month ago. Since the deadline is epired I cannot return it. The fabric used to make this blanket does not breath as a result it gets too hot and becomes uncomfortable at night. The greatest disadvantage is it is very slippery and does not stay in one position. Its just nice to look at but does not serve its purpose. I am very disappointed with it. I wish I can return and get my money back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jackie83 from Great while it lasted... Just over a year My husband bought me the queen size blanket as a gift as I'm very ill. I thought it was the most thoughtful gift, and was beyond excited to use it! I loved it for the first year. But shortly after that, it stopped heating up. Not impressed at all. At least I can rely on my 2 heating pads that I still have!

Rated 1 out of 5 by EDEE from Didn't meet expectation I received this as a Christmas gift last year and loved it, however, I've just taken it out to use for my second winter with it and it doesn't heat up anymore :( I would have expected this queen size blanket to work for longer than the couple of months I used it last winter.. very disappointed and would not recommend!

Rated 2 out of 5 by jaal from stopped heating after minimal use My wife bought two Sunbeam blankets a few years ago for home and two more for our cottage. I don't know what model/style they are. We didn't save the packaging. When they work, they're great. Unfortunately, we've had issues with two of the four. The home units were dual control. One of them died in less than a year. We sent it in for warranty repair. Sunbeam honored the warranty, replacing it with a different style, though it took several months for the replacement to arrive. None of the units are turned on very much, but the single-control cottage ones get even less use as they are only utilized seasonally on very cold nights when we are up there. One still works -- it has been used no more than 10 times. The other, which has been turned on maybe 25 times, died last year. They have all been treated gently (no tugging, and gently folded for storing in the off-season). We tried resetting it with no success. The controller lights up but the blanket does not heat.. Resetting didn't help. Very disappointed. I think the warranty period may have passed, but with so little use, it's apparent we didn't get very good value for the money spent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jane1 from Excellent blanket We've had 4 Sunbeam electric blankets in the past 30-odd years.. This one is the best yet. It's a bit expensive but a good buy if one can get it on sale. The control lights are a bit dim for our eyes - especially on waking up in the middle of the night and trying to vary the temperature. A variable light would be useful. Great material - a substantial feeling, but quite soft and light.
