Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good size ,helps aches heats up fast [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use heating blankets all the time.I am older and the heat helps calm my aches and pains and it warms me up as I am cold all the time.This size is bigger then the one I had before.My daughter has had back surgery and she tried it and said it helped relax the area that was hurting.The controls are easy to use and I like and have used the Sunbeam brand in the past and their products have held up for me.I am going to use this XXL size alot over the cold months.The material is soft and I can roll this one up and it will stay in place with these bands.I received this product for my honest review and educational purposes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding heating pad!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have arthritis in my hips and back, and using heat is one way I can get some relief. This Sunbeam heating pad is big enough to cover my back, and it also covers my whole front hip area. I love that is has 4 heat settings. I use the warm setting most of the time because it is warm enough to give me relief, but not hot enough to burn. The material is soft and plush. It can be rolled up to save space or make it easier to pack. The only thing I would change is the two hour automatic shut off. I wish you could set it for 30 minutes at a time. Overall though, it is an outstanding product that I highly recommend.

It has a wonderful microplush cover that is so soft. I love the elastic straps because I can roll it up and take it anywhere. It has 4 heat settings and works great.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Doesn't Stay Connected I have quite a bit of experience with Sunbeam heating pads and have always chosen them first. This XXL was given as a gift 10 days ago. The heat is wonderful and very soothing. HOWEVER, the cord connection into the pad does not have the outer pincers to hold on, as other pads I've bought do. (See photos comparing the two.) The cord disconnects from the pad with very little movement, leaving me wondering why the heat has stopped long before the 2-hour auto shut off. I have never had this problem with the other size pads. I will return it today.

It has four different modes (warm, low, medium, high) and they all work great. It may be a little warm out still for using this, but I still happily snuggled up to it for an hour or so on my couch one night when I was chilly from the A/C to try it out! I know it will 100% come in handy as the cooler months roll in soon. I love to use a heating pad for cramps, aches and pains, and just to warm up when I’m cold. This one will definitely get a lot of use in my house and I would recommend it for sure. I have other Sunbeam heating pads similar to this one that have held up just fine as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sunbeam XXL Microplush Heating Pad [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very nice extra large sized heating pad with a super soft microplush cover and adjustable heating controls. I love the size because I need the larger coverage for my back so I don't have to mess about with my much smaller pad that I always have to shift to different positions to have the full coverage. So convenient! I also love the temperature settings so I'm not relegated to just hot, all heating pads should have this feature!!! The quality is great and the microplush really makes it comfortable to use without getting 'sweaty'. I highly recommend this Sunbeam Heating Pad and am using mine daily and it really helps so much.

I had the 2 of smaller size for years before upgrading to this one, and like them it warms up quick, stays nice and evenly warm the whole time and over the whole surface, and just generally works like it's supposed to without any problems, even though I use it pretty heavily and am not particularly gentle to it. The cover is very thick and soft and the internal wire things are flexible and hardly noticeable, so it feels like wrapping myself in a spa bathrobe. I don't usually write product reviews but this has been really excellent chronic pain relief and I appreciate the thoughtful design/engineering put into making this easy and comfortable to use!

When I received the Sunbeam XXL Microplush heating pad, I was hopeful it would help ease the pain. The heating pad comes with 4 heat settings and has a 2 hour automatic shut off feature. The pad itself is very soft and a lot bigger than the standard heating pads. It heats up fast and really helps keep my back pain in check. I have been using it every night.

It's really big and covered my entire back when I laid down on it. It gets extremely hot. There's a long cord, so you can use it in all of your favorite places. Its easy to wrap up when you're done. It rolls up small enough to store in a small drawer or anywhere really. It looks like it would clean up easy if you needed to clean it, too. There's a safety shut off after so many minutes, to keep it from causing burns, which is nice. Really great heating pad. Would recommend 100%!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great when works! Breaks quickly It's very hard to rate this product. I loved it for the time that it worked. It's the biggest one I've seen, it actually gets hot enough, the cover doesn't slip off easily, it has a long cord, and 4 heat settings. HOWEVER, it lasted only a year. Based on other reviews, that's longer than many, but that is not a reasonable life span. I used it intermittently for that year (pain and season dependent), so while I didn't use it all the time for that year, when I did use it I'd use it many days in a row for a few hours at a time. Everything is great about it except its longevity.

Love the four heat settings and it’s so soft and plush. I also like the way it folds up. So far no negatives. It’s actually a pretty heating pad. Very nice!

Finding relief has been difficult, due to the large area of injury. I have recently tried the XXLG Sunbeam Heating pad & I was not disappointed!! The microsoft texture is soft & inviting, the xxlg surface allows me to wrap from my hip to knee or knee to foot. Easy to hold and/or use control & multiple settings to help find just the right temperarure for relief! I highly recommend this product for all aches, pains, & comfort!

First, the xxl size covers a lot more area than the smaller ones I've used before. If your back hurts this will cover close to your entire back. That's typically what I use my heating pad for. The material is super soft and comfortable, and the cord being nice and long is an added bonus. The remote is easy to use, and I appreciate the auto timer off so you can use it as you fall asleep. It heats up quickly and I have no complaints!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst heating pad I've owned Right out of the box this past was annoying, the power cable constantly came out because it had no security clips. I always found the past too hot, the warm seeing was the only one I could use or it would scald me. Now I see this plug is broken, I don't know if it's always been like that or just happened, but the past starts on my bed and has never been roughly handled or moved. The size was nice but everything else was disappointing.

It’s soft flexible and durable. Has multiple settings heats up evenly, and automatically shuts off after two hours of use. It heats up fast, and after use, you can roll it up. Best of all the size. It’s larger than the traditional heating pad and was able to warm up my whole back not just upper or lower. I was very happy with this product.

I wa excited because I have always wanted one but never could justify buying one. The pad’s warmth started within 75 seconds and by 2 1/2 minutes had a nice warmth throughout. I placed my picky elderly dog on the warmed pad (warm heat-lower than the low setting) and she immediately laid down where I placed her and fell asleep. She is 9 years old, so she probably has some achy joints at the end of the day. I have never seen her lay on a blanket with out fluffing it and moving it from one end of the bed to the other. To make sure it was not just her, I placed her daughter on and she too fell in love. I of course love that it helps my achy joints.

I’ve been having a lot of lower back pain since giving birth a few months ago, and this feels amazing on my back while sitting up breastfeeding in bed. The attached remote is super convenient with multiple settings (and color coded lights which is helpful for in the dark!) and I love that it has an auto off feature if needed. The straps are also nice to roll it up after. I definitely see myself using this for future back pain, period cramps, sore neck/shoulders, and honestly it would be perfect just for keeping warm in the winter too. This is way bigger and softer than my old heating pad, it’s the perfect replacement!

I’ve tried unplugging it and waiting, shutting off the power strip it’s on for a while, it’s rather disappointing because it’s a nice, big heating pad with good heat and soft fabric.

I love the heat settings, 60% larger, 2 hour auto-off and the compact storage which is great to put away. The flexible pad provides full coverage of large muscle as the entire back and legs, also has moist heat option. This item is also machine washable, the pad is which is the best thing to know to keep it clean. This is so great to relief muscle and joint pain, tension and stress, what else can you ask for from this heating pad, it's great.

I have pain in my lower back that I need heat for sometimes and I use a corn bag, this is MUCH more comfortable!!! I can lay flat on my back on it and get the relief I need from the heat. Its highest setting is great even for long term because it doesn’t get too too hot! With the attached remote it makes it easy to control as well!! 🙂 perfect size for shoulders to lower back!

Besides that, it’s simple to use and quick to heat up. I have other Sunbram products and this appears to be another one of their quality products. It’s fairly new, so I can’t yet speak to longevity.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great when it actually works I’m on about my 6-7th xxl heating pad. The second last one the controller didn’t even last a week, the last one lasted only a week as well. The longest one has ever lasted for me is about three months. I have chronic back pain and need heat to help me. I only kept buying them because I liked the way they work when they do work. I am beyond frustrated with this product and can’t understand why there are good reviews because the product is absolute junk. I want my money back.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love this size and the temp it reaches but… I’m on my 4th xxl heating pad. I didn’t know that there was a warranty or I would have saved myself some money. I’ve had this one less than a month and I got the flashing red light of death. Plugging, unplugging etc to reset has done nothing. The max time I’ve gotten out of one is just over a year and the least would be just under a month. I need it for chronic pain issues so unfortunately I’m sure I’ll be dealing with faulty heating pads on a regular basis with my luck 😅

This covered my entire lap and then some, perfect for your back or for stomach discomfort because it covers a large area. It gets warm quickly and has multiple heat settings which is nice. It also rolls up very neat for storage so cords and such isnt falling everywhere in your closet.

It’s large so it’s covers a lot of body parts. It’s very soft and it has like a timer turns off on its own after a while has different settings so you can put up really high, really low heat it’s just overall a really great heating pad. I also love the color. It’s a dark teal color
