Rated 3 out of 5 by nattyGirl55 from bowl was fine, but.... I purchased this bowl because I had recently purchased a Sunbeam Heritage Stand mixer and it only came with 1 large bowl. A lot of the recipes that were included called for using the 2.2 qt. bowl (which does not come with the Mixer). After trying the mixer a few times, I realized that it was not performing like I thought it would and had to return it. (Bowls wouldn't turn properly and when they did turn, they wobbled, also I had to constantly use a scraper on the sides of the bowls for thicker mixtures, etc.)... Subsequently, I had no need for this extra bowl since I had to return the stand mixer....The bowl itself was fine, but it just did not work very well with the stand mixer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Honest reviewr from Set is complete! 2.2 Quart arrived as promises. Fits nicely into the big bowl that came with my mixer. I wish Sunbeam would have included the small bowl automatically in the standing mixer set. My mom has the older model, circa 1950's. It was better made. The bowls were heavy enough to stay on the mixer, When in use. I have to hold mine in place when using to keep it from sliding around. kind of counter productive. I heard they have a "locking" version of the set. Why they don't just offer that one, I haven't a clue. Oh well, at least now I have a smaller bowl to whip cream in. Suggest Sumbeam research the 1950s machine, heavier with all metal parts and ceramic bowls, but was much better than the new "vintage" one. The new one only looks the part. Does not operate the same way as the old one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by lindylou from Great size bowl, very useful I had been trying to get the small bowl for my Oster stand mixer. I had given up on the Oster website, but got serious again and contacted them, and they gave me the product number and where to get it. It is so great to have the small bowl that works with my mixer the way it should. It is nice and light, yet stable when in use, with or without the mixer. It is great, I love it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Herb65 from So many uses Don't buy just one buy two . These are great for almost every thing .They need to make a lid for these . The four quart is to big for small batches and this bowl is perfect . We use them without the mixer all the time. Great bowls.
