Thermostat

How does a comfort control thermostat work?

A control thermostat is a feature that allows you to manually set and maintain a desired temperature range. The fan will cycle on and off to maintain the desired temperature setting. The setting is based on personal comfort level as the exact temperature in not displayed.

The thermostat on my fan doesn’t show that the air is cooling. Why is this happening?

Thermostats are designed to measure the ambient air temperature near the fan and compare it to the temperature setting you selected. The thermostat will respond by turning the fan on or off accordingly. Fans circulate the air, but do not change the existing temperature of the air.
