Do not buy!
I bought this about 8 months ago. It worked all of the time for about 7 months, then developed an intermittent fault which became worse and worse to the point that it is now completely useless. Red light just flashes when it is plugged in. I am a retired professional engineer and it is clear that there is a break in the heating wiring inside the pad itself, although it has been properly cared for.

Microplush Heating Pad Model 537-CN
I bought this product about 1 week ago. I was excited about it at first. I have bad back problems and figured this would be the answer for me. However, when reading the guide it says"do not sit on and do not sit against". How are you supposed to use it? I am very disappointed! As a senior I feel I wasted almost $50.
