Worth the purchase
I bought this a while back & wanted to really use the mincer before leaving a review.
The only issue I encountered was point 4 of the instructions where you insert the blade. To do this correctly, You MUST insert the smooth side of the blade against the spiral auger otherwise it won't mince that well (rest of instructions are ok).
Having the 'blade' the correct way and it minces great. The motor handles well and I've made many sausages using the attachments with natural and synthetic casings (for the bbq and smoker).
As for removing the mincer and auger, you need to unplug, unscrew lock, remove the sieve, remove blade. THEN, you need to pull the hub cap release lever to remove the spiral auger and then the housing. It does not come out as one whole unit.
As for quality of accessories - they are excellent. I haven't used the biscuit attachments as I have hundred of cutters for that.
Clean up is easy enough after soaking the attachments in hot soapy water. I find meat tends to stick to the spiral auger and the inside of the locking rim, so you will need to pay attention to those areas.

Lousy instructions
I agree with the person who said you can't get full use out of the meat grinder attachment without instructions. Please don't say call the #. I tried, I went thru vmail jungle only to be told, there's too many calls and got disconnected. I'd say it's a great machine, but the lack of instructions (why in this day and age do you have to call someone?) mean I'm sending the whole machine back and buying a kitchen aid - great online instructions.
